In this course, you will learn about what sake is, its various types and flavors, all while enjoying actual tastings.
By understanding sake, you can make your meals more enjoyable and enriching!

  • – Taste five types of local sake selected by a sake sommelier.
  • – Create tasting notes to understand your preferences.
  • – Learn about the sake brewing process and the variety of sake flavors from the sommelier.
  • – Enjoy several traditional Japanese snacks (not enough for a full meal).

About Torin-ji Temple

Located in Asakusa since 1611 during the Tokugawa era, Torin-ji was founded by Kamehime, the eldest daughter of the first shogun, Ieyasu Tokugawa.
